Menagerie Cosmetics' 'Gator' is an olive-green liquid lipstick that is no longer available. I remember it applying smoothly and being opaque in one or two coats. It was comfortable and didn't dry out my lips - based on this photo, it looks like it's a softer matte that's not too dry. It's been a long time since I wore it, but I took a nap the day I wore this and remember it looking pretty decent when I woke up. Menagerie's liquid lipsticks have had good wear time in my experience, so this one is probably no different.

Thoughts

This is only the second green lipstick I've tried, and I loved it! Somehow, this color doesn't seem as easy for me to wear, though I'm not sure why. I think it's because I want to do minimal makeup with a unique lip like this, but most of my 'lip-focused' days involve me being in the mood for a dark color, not something mid-toned like this. I hope it comes back in stock one day, because it's a really nice tone and formula. I'll have to pull it out again to wear soon!
