[Review] Safe + Fair Blueberry Cobbler Drizzled Popcorn

  • Brand name: Safe + Fair
  • Location: Columbus, Ohio
  • Known for: Unique, tasty snacks that are allergy-friendly

I admit that this purchase was motivated by a well-placed ad. I bought Safe + Fair's Blueberry Cobbler Drizzled Popcorn in a bundle after craving snacks and seeing that this had just launched. This is described as fruity-cobbler-inspired popcorn... flavored with natural blueberry flavors and no artificial coloring. I have to say, this is pretty delicious. It tastes as they describe - like a creamy blueberry topping on sweet-but-salty glazed popcorn. The drizzle is smooth and reminds me of chocolate, while the popcorn manages to stay crunchy and not stale. It really does remind me of a blueberry dessert served with vanilla ice cream. This product is also vegan, non-GMO, and free of peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and fish. A 7.5 oz bag can be purchased from the Safe + Fair site for $5.00, or it is available with slight savings as part of a bundle.

 Thoughts

This was my first time trying Safe + Fair, and I'm impressed. I like that their entire line is allergy-friendly, and the snacks are good. The product selection is unique but appealing, which I can appreciate. I would love to see more flavors as they come out. I always want companies to use more sustainable packaging (since this foil-lined bag can't be recycled) but don't have any complaints otherwise. Any day I can eat a form of popcorn is a very good day.

I bought directly from their website and have never seen their items in a store, though it would be nice to be able to purchase this in person to save on shipping and excess packaging. I would probably make another purchase in the future but will wait to see if anything exciting comes out for fall or winter. Fingers crossed!
